The Association for the Promotion of Decent Work for Women and Girls (ASSPRODEC) is proud to unveil the results of its work from 2022 to 2024, demonstrating a strong commitment to transforming lives through education, skills training, mentorship, and financial empowerment.

Over the past three years, ASSPRODEC directly supported more than 450 women and girls through various empowerment programs. These beneficiaries—many of whom were internally displaced persons (IDPs), teenage mothers, or vulnerable women—have received the support and tools needed to break cycles of poverty and claim their right to decent work.

One of the organization’s most notable achievements is the award of scholarships totaling 28,900,000 XAF, enabling dozens of young women to pursue higher education through professional training programs. These scholarships are not just financial support—they are lifelines for young women who would otherwise have been left behind due to economic or social hardships.

In addition to scholarships, 15 girls have been mentored through ASSPRODEC’s career guidance and personal development programs, receiving tailored support to build confidence, define their goals, and find purpose-driven paths to success.

Recognizing that education must be matched with economic inclusion, ASSPRODEC also provided microcredit to 16 women-owned small businesses, helping them grow their ventures and formalize their operations. This financial boost allows women to generate income, create jobs, and gain long-term financial independence.

As the organization looks forward to expanding its impact, this milestone reaffirms ASSPRODEC’s mission to promote decent work, economic empowerment, and gender equality. With continued support from partners, donors, and the community, ASSPRODEC is committed to reaching more women and girls—especially those often overlooked—and ensuring no one is left behind.
